Eros, the God of Love ratings (Movie, 1981)

São Paulo, great metropolis. Marcelo, 48, married to Eleonora and father of Berenice, declares his love and hatred for the city. The film deals with the search for a man for the reasons that lead him to not find a meaning for his life, which is shown through his memories. Through his current lover Ana, who works in an art gallery, he recalls his fascination and love for the women who have passed through his life. Among them are: the desired mother; the English teacher with whom, in 1945, became sexually involved; the fascination of a child by a communist leader in 1935; the maid who took care of the horses on her mother's farm; the virgin schoolgirl in 1969; the masochistic lover; Ada, who sought to change her life; two prostitutes; the astronomer who told him of the infinity of the universe; the sculptor who could not mold her face in clay; the Japanese woman from a brothel; the philosophy teacher who taught her the love of platonic ideas.
