The story follows the life of charming Mitch, an aspiring woodcarving artist, who struggles with guilt and haunting memories from his past. Mitch falls in love with an unsuspecting elementary school teacher Lauren and must overcome ongoing conflicts father, alcohol abuse and related health issues, as he tries to hang on to the love of his life Lauren.
