Kempe Gowda ratings (Movie, 2011)

Known for his honesty in Rona, Hubli, Sub-Inspector Kempe Gowda lives a fairly wealthy lifestyle along with his parents. He meets and falls in love with Kavya but faces opposition from her father. Before this issue could be resolved, the High Court directs a Bengaluru-based gangster, Armugam, to report to Kempe. When the former refuses to do so, Kempe threatens action and compels him to attend. Armugam shows up with an army of goons but is eventually humbled and humiliated when the entire community shows up to support Kempe. Armugam completes the process, returns to Bengaluru, and ensures Kempe is transferred there. Once there, he plans to terrorize and humiliate not only Kempe but also his friends and family with impunity.
