Luca, a banker is desperate to have children but his partner, Francesca is not so keen. The couple split up, and he sets out to find a woman to have his child. He tries in every way to achieve what is now an obsession for him and believes he Francesca and Luca are a well-tested and apparently happy couple. But, while Luca begins to feel ready to become a father, Francesca does not feel like giving up on the achievements he has achieved, his independence, his work. Luca's desire for paternity gradually materializes until it becomes an obsession. He believes he has found a viable alternative first in a single colleague, then in a couple of women who have been together for some time and who, among many questions, would like a son. Not everything is as simple as it seems. Is it right to conceive a child without a male figure next to it? And between those who want a child and those who don't, who is the real selfish?
