Bahar is the daughter of a bureaucrat family from Istanbul. While completing his art education in New York, she meets Seymen. They are fall in love and they plan to go to Cappadocia to marry. Seymen is the heir of a well-established family of Cappadocia who is also developed and adhered to its traditions. He lives with his family in a magnificent house called Asmali Konak. Bahar comes as a bride to Asmali Konak. She admires the region and Seymen's respectability there.
