Ouk an lavois para tou mi ehontos ratings (TV show, 2010-2011)
After several thousand years of service, the Greek gods are finally retiring. Each one has to settle their accounts before they are replaced by a new bureaucracy consisting of Christian saints and angels. To their surprise, the psychopomps Charon and Hermes are unable to retire. There is a single human soul who never paid for entry into the Underworlds, and it has to pay before they can retire. The soul belongs to Cynic philosopher Menippus, who has spend the last millennia aimlessly wandering the world. He has no work ethic, and never earned any money. He simply can not pay for his entry into the Underworld. Desperate to retire, Charon and Hermes pressure Menippus into various mercenary jobs and money-making schemes. But either Menippus' many vices, or his actual reluctance to actually die and enter the Underworld ensure that every mission ends in failure. Through a series of misadventures, the comic trio meet parody versions of popular culture figures.
