The Protectors were Harry Rule, the Contessa di Contini and Paul Buchet, three freelance troubleshooters who ran an international crime fighting agency. Based in London, Harry was the leader of the group. The Contessa lived in Italy and, when she wasn't working with Harry, ran her own detective agency that specialized in exposing art fraud and recovering stolen art. Paul Buchet worked out of Paris, and was the group's researcher and gadget specialist. Their adventures ranged from simple kidnapping to convoluted cases of international intrigue.Directors: Charles Crichton, Cyril Frankel, David Tomblin, Don Chaffey, Don Leaver, Jeremy Summers, John Hough, Michael Lindsay-Hogg, Robert Vaughn, Roy Ward BakerWriters: Anthony Terpiloff, Brian Clemens, David Butler, Dennis Spooner, Donald James, Jesse Lasky Jr., John Goldsmith, John Kruse, Lewis Davidson, Ralph Smart, Robert Banks Stewart, Shane Rimmer, Sylvia Anderson, Terence Feely, Terry Nation, Tony Barwick, Trevor PrestonHint: you can examine a particular season more clearly on the graphs if you disable the trendline and all other seasons (via clicking on their labels).Episodes average ratingNote: season labels indicates the average rating per episode between the parentheses.Episodes total votesNote: season labels indicates the average votes per episode between the parentheses.History (tracking since March 7, 2020)Note: amount of total votes may decrease due to periodic removal of fraudulent ones.
