2086 AD: Although the 21st century is the space age, mankind is ever expanding the frontiers of technical superiority into unknown and uncharted areas. Each such quest promises marvelous discoveries, but also brings potential danger. In direct response to such dangers birthed from advanced technology, the Thunderbird rescue squad stands ready to mobilize in response to any distress calls arriving at any time from any disaster scene on or off Earth.
