Sure Fire ratings (Movie, 1921)

Cowpuncher Jeff Bransford, returns home to find his sweetheart, Marian, hardened against him because he lacks ambition. He learns that Elinor, Marian's married sister, is about to elope with a young easterner and prevents it; but in turn he is blamed for the disappearance of $5,000 belonging to the sister's husband, Major Parker. Rather than expose Elinor's intrigue, Jeff escapes to an abandoned cabin, while the easterner absconds with the money and is killed by bandits, who also capture Marian. Jeff rescues Marian and returns with the money and the bandits. The husband remains in complaisant ignorance, and Marian rewards Jeff by agreeing to their engagement.
